Dłonie
Dłonie are in no hurry. The slowcore quartet from Zalesie Górne - Janek Horodyski (vocals, guitar), Julek Horodyski (drums), Nikodem Gąsowski (bass), and Igor Nikiforow (guitar, piano) - makes music that seems to run on more time than the rest of the world. The band pairs loose, wandering melodies with lyrics that stay simple on the surface but carry real sensitivity underneath. It's a lyrical voice with no obvious reference point elsewhere in Polish music. Their songs don't explain themselves. They leave room for everyone to find something of their own in them.
