Ad Orientem

Ad Orientem means “toward the east”. Once, it described a sacred turn: away from those nearest at hand and toward a distant source of meaning. We inherit the gesture of that turning, while leaving behind the creed that first accompanied it.

The name also carries a second East, closer to home - the one we come from. Not a genre, but a direction, and the discipline of turning toward it.

We work with avant-garde, experimental, and leftfield artists - music that defies easy shelving and looks beyond the mainstream. Our approach to representation and touring is built around an artist's long-term creative journey, not just a single album cycle or touring season.
